The sad and infamous "great escape" that we know Phillip regrets immensely for the consequences it had on so many others. As much as we know Phillip would like to forget about the incident it remains a part of New Zealand history, as well as a part of his life journey. For that reason, and without wishing to glorify the matter, the following photos serve to historically document a part of Phillip's audacious escape to Brazil.
